Was very stretchy which is ok but doesn’t really make it flattering. The size fit larger than I expected.After reading all the other reviews I was on the fence as to order or not and what size to get. I am 5' 3" and weight 148 lbs. I got a size Large. The waist would have been too small had a ordered a Medium. I did not find them too loose in the crotch or the leg. In fact I think the fit is cute. My legs are not what I would consider skinny though. I do have a flat butt. If you have a bubble butt they may not be cut right for you. The fabric is of good quality and it seems like I will get a lot of wear out of them. I hate things that fit too tight in the crotch and these do not. If they were ANY tighter I would not be able to wear them, but certainly one more size up and they would be falling off! The reason for the four star rating is that the pockets are kind of long in comparison to the length of the shorts... They are not stretch fabric either, FYI.I love these shorts. From the material to the length and the comfort, these are the perfect black denim shorts. The destruction is perfect. Not too much and not too little!These are sized really small for the western market. I wear a large in the US (14, but I can also wear a 13). These were more like a size 10, if that. I had to return them. Shame, I really liked them.It’s always a gamble to buy amazon jeans or shorts. These are very true to the photo which is great!!! They feel like jean shorts I’d find at Abercrombie or Lucky Brand Jeans. BUT the sizing is a little off for me. I typically wear a size 2, 26 inch waist or a small. I have a small butt, narrow hips but thunder thighs. These shorts look so cute, are made of a great denim and have perfect distressing. BUT they are too big in the butt. I attached a few photos and the one from the side shows that the butt is too large. Bummer because I wanted to love these! If you have a normal sized butt, these should probably work for you. * I do want to note that the waist fits fine if not a little narrow. If I were to size down, they’d be too short and the waist would be too tight.These are so adorable on.. unfortunately they were little too short for me. I'm a little too old to show my booty cheeks. I totally love them but they do have to go back.These don't fit me right. If my waist was smaller I think these would fit just fine, but after having a kid they're not for me. My cheeks almost hang out and there is no stretch at all. It's true Jean material. However, this brand is great and I've bought other shorts through them that I love. These just aren't a good fit for me.These are exactly what I was looking for and true to the picture. They won't be mistaken for the genuinely worn out, frayed shorts from my youth but that's okay. I'm too old for those these days.
